Catalog description

In this course we introduce various aspects of computer and network security. Security concepts including but not limited to public and private cryptography, authentication, digital signatures, email system security, IP security, web security technologies, firewalls and viruses are introduced. The fundamentals of computer and networks security concepts are provided in the context of modern computer systems and services. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: CSCI 345 or CSCI 370 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
