Catalog description
Developing software that is secure and robust requires the implementation of established methodologies in software engineering with a particular orientation towards security. This course introduces advanced topics in the methodology of secure software design, development and testing. Topics in enterprise as well as Web-based secure software development are discussed. Secure programming for operating systems, databases, Web servers, services and their frameworks are a few of the topics addressed. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: CSCI 620 and CSCI 651
