Catalog description

In this course students discuss the changing nature of work and its impact on workers and labor management relations. Also covered are the history and development of the labor movement, including current issues and perspectives, the impact of social and technical factors on the evolution of business organizations, and the theory and function of workplace skills, i.e. customer focus, quality, team work, leadership, and problem solving. Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
