Catalog description

This course will help students make the transition from high school to college in addition to learning and practicing important life, academic, and professional skills. This course is focused on skills that will help students succeed at the college level, and be prepared for college level coursework. We will cover topics such as time management, during which we will go over all course expectations, and also learn about techniques for organizing and managing time effectively. In addition we will be covering topics such as study skills, note-taking and test-taking. This courses serves as a prerequisite to IDSP 099: Skills for College Success II Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 1-0-0
