Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to the investment process and offers an understanding of how individuals and institutions make their investment decisions. It provides broad exposure to topics including the selection of securities, security analysis, financial instruments, and investment trends. The risks and returns involved in investing in different financial instruments are examined. The course incorporates AI to investigate the influence of regulation on corporate strategy and risk management. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: FINC 201 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
