Catalog description

This survey course explores the development of the film as an art form and a technique. How the feature-length film became the preeminent form of entertainment during the 20th century will be examined .Fifteen hours of selected representative films are screened during the laboratory portion of the course. Post-screening analysis and research are required. Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 2-1-3
