Catalog description
A course introducing students to the fundamentals of college composition and to editing strategies with attention to detail and common ESL errors. Topics include writing process, rhetorical strategies, basics of critical reading and thinking, analytical writing, and argumentative writing. This course serves as a foundation to prepare students to succeed in other academic writing contexts. Coursework includes a computer lab component. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: WRIT 110 or Writing Placement Exam Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
