Catalog description
This course covers the fundamentals of wireless communications and provides an overview of existing and emerging wireless communication networks. It covers radio propagation and fading models, fundamentals of cellular communications, multiple access technologies, and various wireless networks. The course also addresses additional protocols such as Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, as well as emerging standards and protocols for Internet of Things. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisites: ETEC 310, ETEC 325 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
