Catalog description

This course introduces ESL students to the various aspects of American culture as depicted in films. The course emphasizes the development of listening comprehension, speaking, and writing skills. Students watch, discuss, and write about films. In addition, they will learn research techniques and write a research paper. This course is recommended for graduate students in communication arts, but any qualified student may register for it. Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 0-0-0
