Catalog description

Candidates will apply concepts, theories and techniques to design and develop eLearning modules in both synchronous and asynchronous learning environments. Learning management systems, open source, social networks, and other formats for online learning will be explored. Candidates will also discover how to modify their existing training approaches to engage learners in an online environment. Candidates will use an instructional design process to plan, design, develop, implement, evaluate and modify web-based instruction to promote interactive online teaching and learning for all types of learners and organizations. Tools designed in previous courses will be used in the development of an eLearning course module. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: EDTR 609 and EDTR 690
