Creative Arts in Elementary Education

Catalog description

Candidates review art and music in the early childhood, childhood and middle childhood settings with special emphasis on teaching methods and the integration of technology. Using existing curricula, candidates prepare activities, concepts and materials for use in the early childhood, childhood and middle childhood grades. Candidates study the use of technology as an aid to drawing and painting as well as the creation of musical composition. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: EDPC 603 and EDPC 615
