Foundations of Bilingual Education & Counseling

Catalog description

Candidates will focus on the history, theory, and rational for bilingualism, bilingual education and English as a New Language to teaching and counseling speakers of languages other than English. Candidates consider research on the effectiveness of these methods and use technology to access instructional materials and engage in conversations with Bilingual/ENL student, parents, and school staff members.
