Catalog description

Clinical Sciences IV, the fourth and last in a series of courses, expands and enhances training (lecture/laboratory) in the clinical skills of patient interviewing and history taking, psychosocial interaction, physical diagnosis, and osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM). Structured learning activities include clinical case scenarios represented by ‘paper patients’ as well as simulated- and robotic-patients (Institute for Clinical Competency (ICC). Hands-on practice is an essential component of this course.
