Catalog description
Clinical Sciences III, the third in a series of courses, expands and enhances training (lecture/laboratory) in the clinical skills of patient interviewing and history taking, psychosocial interaction, physical diagnosis, osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM), and osteopathic principles and practice (OPP). Structured learning activities include clinical case scenarios represented by simulated- and robotic-patients, (Institute for Clinical Competency (ICC) and actual-patients (Clinical Practicum). Hands-on practice is an essential component of this course.
