Catalog description

This course provides students with an introduction to discrete structures with applications to computing problems. Topics include logic, sets, functions, relations, proof techniques, counting and algorithmic analysis in addition to graph theory and trees. The course will also include a special project or paper as required and specified by the instructor and the SoECS graduate committee. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: CSCI 185 or CSCI 504
