Externship Program

Catalog description

Students enrolled in this course will be given the opportunity to work in a field assignment in the area of their specialization and will be asked to meet professional standards set down by the organization to which they are assigned. Conferences will be held with the student during this period and the organization will be asked to cooperate by reporting on the progress of the student. A pass/fail grade is recorded for this course. A written evaluation of performance is provided by the sponsoring agency or professional. One-hundred fifty working hours are required to complete the internship.
