Guided Project

Catalog description

This course enables students to select course material not available in the catalog. The material may be in very focused subject or specialization necessary for the students area of interest, or it may provide in- depth information following coursework. Students submit a proposal to a faculty member with the approval of the department chair. Students must schedule regular conferences with the advisor and submit a midterm progress report and a final paper or completed project. As a guideline, each credit hour is 30 hours of work, e.g. a 3 credit Guided Project would require 90 hours of work. Classroom Hours- Laboratory and/ or Studio Hours- Course Credits: 0-3-1 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 0-3-1
