Externship in Communication Arts

Catalog description

Students enrolled in this course are given an opportunity to work in profit and non-profit organizations in the area of communications, public relations, and advertising for credit. To be eligible, students must have junior or senior status, a 3.0 or better GPA, the recommendation of his/her faculty advisor and the Chairperson's permission. Applications must be approved during the prior semester. Grades are on a pass/fail basis. Students may take up to 12 credits of externship in the degree program. Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 0-5-5
