Advanced Biochemistry

Catalog description

A one-semester graduate level course in biochemistry designed to provide students with an in depth understanding of the principles of biochemistry. Emphasis is placed on the structure and function of proteins and nucleic acids as well as the underlying physical and chemical principles that control enzymatic reactions and metabolic pathways. Prerequisite Course(s): Limited to students in the Chemistry PhD program.
