This course is to introduce fluid properties; mass, energy and momentum conservation laws; dimensional analysis and modeling; laminar and turbulent flows; surface and form resistance; flow in pipes and open channels; elementary hydrodynamics; fluid measurements; and characteristics of hydraulic machines. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisites: MATH 320 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
