Catalog description

This course will discuss the principles and practices of transportation engineering and urban transportation planning. It covers the fundamental principles of traffic flow; traffic safety; intersection control; capacity and level of service of highways; capacity and level of service of signalized intersections, and geometric design of roadways. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisites: MATH 180, CENG 201 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
