Catalog description

This course will introduce the behavior of steel structural components and systems, including tension members, compression members, flexural members, connections, and building codes. It will cover the design of steel members and connections using load and resistance factor design (LRFD) methods. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: MENG 221, CENG 260 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
