Catalog description
This course introduces common materials used for construction, including concrete, metals, polymers, and wood. Students will learn the micro and nano-scale structure of matter, physical, structural, mechanical and chemical properties of infrastructure materials. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisites: CHEM 107 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
