Catalog description

Tissue engineering research remains a focal point of interest for both scientists and bioengineering. This course delves into the principles and practices of tissue regeneration, with a focus on the most recent advancements in regenerative medicine, biomaterials, bioreactors and tissue engineering. It will cover topics including scaffold design, cell-material interactions, delivery of growth factors, bioreactors and clinical applications. Furthermore, students will gain insight into the regulatory aspects of medical device development Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
