Catalog description

UX design practice reveals the real challenges of making products that are both usable and beautiful. This course will investigate and cultivate strategies that deliver pleasurable, effective, and efficient user interface design practice. With a focus on user interface (UI) and prototyping design, students will learn the various design cycles of interface design, visual design, branding, low- and high-fidelity prototype, human interface guidelines, interaction models, the components of UI design for cross-platform and multi-device delivery, as well as web, mobile, wearables, AR, VR, voice, and kiosk executions. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: ARTI 602
