Building on the foundational concepts of Typography I, this advanced course explores the complexities of type design and its applications. Topics include innovative typographic composition, advanced layouts, custom lettering, and the integration of type across various design contexts. Emphasis is placed on using type creatively to evoke emotion, build strong brand identity, with a focus on problem-solving and visual storytelling. The course addresses type in print, digital, interactive, and dynamic media. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisites: ARTG 201 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 1-3-3
