Catalog description
This course presents an understanding of why the practice of architecture is, as it is today, and what are the possibilities for the future. The course expends the point of view of architecture practice to include that of the owner, developer, and entrepreneur. New business models and project delivery methods are explored. The organization and administration of a building project is examined in detail, from schematic design, to design development, to contract documents, to bidding and negotiation, through construction administration, and commissioning.
