Catalog description

This course is an introduction to contemporary materials and material practices used in the design, construction and performance of architectural components and projects. Beginning with an overview of material component systems in architecture, and advancing through the design and specification of assemblies, this course culminates in the crafting and fabrication of scaled building component elements and their combinations and assemblies. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisites: ARCH 602 or M. ARCH Track II status Co-requisites: ARCH 704
