ARCH 713
Architectural Simulation and Fabrication Optimization
New York Institute of Technology · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
ARCH 713 is an introduction to the process of iterating architectural project designs to meet programmatic goals through interactive input from performance simulations. Class simulation content builds on other courses in the technology sequence (structures, construction, and environmental systems). Simulation workflows covered are tailored to be applied to projects in development as part of an iterative design process. By defining project goals in relation to current industry standards, codes, and certifications, skills and workflows learned in this class are directly applicable to current cutting edge professional practice. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisites: ARCH 705, ARCH 722. Corequisites: ARCH 801
