Catalog description

This course will study and apply modern methods of construction drawing development, purpose, and organization using computer-aided design and drawing within the context of the 24-28-week B.S.A.T. Summer to Fall Practicum OPTION, attending during full time employment within the context of a professional architecture office under the instruction of a designated legally registered architect. Study is directed and guided in the preparation of a complete set of professional construction drawings: plans, sections, elevations, details and schedules. All expanded topics introduced will support the development of these documents. No previous computer aided drafting (CAD) experience is required but extremely valuable. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: ARCH 202, ARCH 221, ARCH 211 & ARCH 222. Corequisites: ARCH 481P, ARCH 423P, ARCH 340P. Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 0-0-3
