Catalog description

Investigation of the public realm in our communities through the study and design of housing. Design problems examine housing prototypes and the mutual impact that design solutions, neighborhood contexts, and environments at large exert on one another. Emphasis is placed on exploring the interface between the large scale of public spaces and the intimate scale of private individual ones, towards sustainable solutions of living. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisites: ARCH 301, Only declared B.ARCH degree students can register for this course. Corequisites: ARCH 325 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 2-5-5
