Catalog description
A study of federal tax structure as it applies to the taxation of individuals. Topics covered include: filing status, exemptions, income, exclusions, deductions, credits and other taxes. Property transactions will also be covered. This course will include elements of tax research; ethics, communication and the preparation of tax forms. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: ACCT 101 and ACCT 102 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
