Professional Development: Pursuing Your Post-Graduate Plan

Catalog description

This course assists students in the development of their culminating professional development presentations in their final semester in the program. Students work on developing slide decks and creative assets (e.g., original songs, recordings, music videos/visualizers, lyric videos, professional website, business plan, marketing plan, resume) to demonstrate their learning, creative/business acumen and readiness to enter the industry. At the end of the semester, every student presents their final work to a curated panel of industry leaders, and they receive practical advice, feedback, and assistance to help them find jobs and opportunities, and position themselves for post-graduate success.
