Breast Imaging

Catalog description

This elective is geared toward students who are planning a career in Radiology, Oncology, Obstetrics and Gynecology or Surgery. Students will participate in reading sessions and receive instruction in the basics of breast imaging including screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasound and breast MRI as well as the types of procedures performed in the specialty. In addition, they will participate in the departmental and interdepartmental conferences.
