Senior Seminar

Catalog description

The Senior Seminar will serve as a capstone experience for all public policy majors in their senior year. Students will apply the analytical methods and substantive knowledge of the policy process they have gained to a current policy problem of their choosing. Each student will write a senior seminar paper that consists of both policy analysis and recommendations for action. The seminar itself will provide structured guidance and supervision on the preparation and execution of a piece of policy analysis. Opportunities to engage with real-world producers and clients of policy analysis will be structured into the seminar. Instructors for the seminar will include faculty at both Wagner and CAS.
