A one-week Orientation exercise centering on social impact filmmaking where the incoming class reviews a short lecture on social impact filmmaking; divides into groups of 4-6 students to pitch a media project to faculty focusing on a social issue they care about on Orientation Day, a 75 minute live synchronous session on the platform.
