Competency - Orthodontics & Space Management

Catalog description

This assessment concludes the curricular track for competence in management of malocclusion/skeletal problems and space management. Based on simulated cases, students make clinical decisions and demonstrate the evidence-based rationale for their decisions. Skills assessed include: Diagnosis of malocclusion; Diagnosis of skeletal problems; Treatment planning; Space management (upper and lower arches). This course is open only to students in the Doctor of Dental Surgery program. Core curriculum.
