Catalog description

This Hartford Institute of Geriatric Nursing (HIGN) Scholars’ course explores aging and geriatric nursing with a focus on health access and inclusive health outcomes. This course fosters students’ voices and expertise in geriatrics through experiential learning. This is accomplished in part through service-based learning projects, development and dissemination of written works, and individualized mentorship by established scholars and clinicians at NYU Rory Meyers Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing and Adult and Aging Research Collaborative (AARC).
