Catalog description

This course builds on the knowledge and skills learned in nursing research and statistics courses to enhance the students’ abilities to critically appraise research studies and interpret research findings. The students will examine the scientific study of education and the learning processes that include human attributes, interactions, organizations, and institutions that shape educational outcomes. The students will explore selected research methodologies used in education. The ethical and legal aspects of education and social research will be discussed. This course is a segue to the capstone seminar course on integrative review.
