Catalog description
Students receive individualized vocal instruction in a studio setting, including weekly group lessons and eight 30-minute private coaching sessions per semester, focusing on vocal technique and its practical application. Repertoire is carefully selected to match each student’s strengths and developmental goals. Emphasizing the voice as a tool for expressive communication, the course encourages students to explore its role in conveying text, emotion, and storytelling. At the end of each semester, students have the opportunity to demonstrate their progress through a public performance. Prerequisite: Prior training; admission by audition Fulfillment: General Elective
