Catalog description

Generative and Agentic AI without Coding or Statistics is built to remove the two barriers that hold most people back: coding and statistics. You won't write a single line of code. You won't need advanced math. You only need curiosity and a willingness to rethink what "AI skills" can look like outside computer science. Generative AI can help you draft, create, and analyze from simple prompts. Agentic AI goes further. It can carry out supervised, multi-step workflows using everyday tools. The goal of this course is practical adoption. You will learn how to integrate AI into real tasks, choose the right use cases, and design workflows that fit your discipline. This course is designed for social-impact disciplines and beyond. It is equally applicable to the humanities, social sciences, public health, policy, education, business, law, and clinical and community settings. Ethics and equity remain central throughout. You will learn how to check quality, reduce bias, and use AI with integrity. By the end, you will have AI fluency that is both conceptual and applied. You will be able to translate AI into concrete, discipline-relevant workflows with confidence. And because the course is online-only, you can participate from anywhere—without needing to be on campus. "Don't just learn AI—learn to use it.
