Catalog description

In this course, you will examine how and why organizations are actively working to ensure that everyone has a fair and just opportunity to attain their highest level of health. The course will also focus on identification and analysis of health equity solutions, including policy levers, public/private partnerships, delivery system transformation plans, and innovative care delivery models. You will examine the challenges faced by actors in the healthcare delivery system, community-based organizations, and government and in doing so, explore alternative payment models, demonstration projects, and pilot programs designed to address disparities and allow the achievement of optimal health for all people.
