Catalog description

This course covers what it takes to scale a company from startup to public-ready organisation. We work through the various operational challenges faced by leadership during the journey: business planning in fast-changing environments, scaling operations, people and technology, financing growth, building financial and legal infrastructure, designing organisations and governance, and preparing for public markets. The course is anchored in the real founder experience of scaling Jumia — Africa’s first tech unicorn and NYSE-listed company. Most sessions leverage real life hands on experience and various speakers. The final week focuses on S-1 analysis and a Pre-IPO roadshow simulation.
