Solid Mechanics II builds upon the first course in this area. The concepts of stress and strain are covered in more detail. The emphasis will be on stress concentrations, combined loading, deformation of beams and shafts, thin-walled structures, transformation of stress, principal stresses, and buckling. | Prerequisites: MA-UY 1124 and ME-UY 2263 . Corequisites: MA-UY 2034 . Anti-Requisites: ME-UY 3213
