Catalog description

This is the first semester in the second-year sequence of Korean language. It includes phonetics, grammar, syntax, and vocabulary. The course emphasizes the development of communicative skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Develops the language's major social and cultural contexts. Requires students to write about and discuss various topics. Prerequisite: Elementary Korean II or the equivalent, or by placement exam Fulfillment: General electives.
