Catalog description
Emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and immersive media, are rapidly changing the creative industries and society as a whole. Through discussions, debates, critical reflection, research, and hands-on practice, this course will allow students to fully comprehend these emerging technologies. This course will also introduce contemporary methods and approaches, both in theory and practice, on how they can be leveraged to create innovative works within the area of computational arts. Prerequisite: None. Fulfillment: CORE STS; IMA elective; IMB major IMA/IMB elective.
