"Living Systems Design" invites students to explore how biotechnology, art, and design converge to foster sustainable innovation. In this course, students will learn to harness biotech processes and living materials, aiming to create projects that reflect principles of biomimicry, sustainable design, and eco-engineering. Key topics include bio-inspired energy systems, regenerative design, and dynamic, living materials. Throughout the semester, students will engage in hands-on projects, studying how living systems can influence the design of resilient, sustainable structures and processes.
