Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the U.S. Constitution and the history of its creation, revisions, and interpretation. This course proceeds roughly chronologically, but at the core is thematic and topical. The first few weeks of the course will be about the structure and creation of the Constitution. We will then move on to topics that both have historical significance and are important to our understanding of what is happening today. We will have a series of guest speakers who are experts in this field and will guide you through the topics and readings.
