Catalog description
Continuation of HEL-UA 105 . This course is addressed to students who have already acquired a familiarity with the Modern Greek language. Students are expected to be acquainted with the most significant grammar and syntax structures and to have built basic conversation and writing skills. This course will explore more complex linguistic phenomena and enrich students' vocabulary, leading to the spontaneous use of the language as it is spoken and written in Greece today. The course will draw from various expressions of modern Greek culture, such as poetry, music, and visual representations, and will enable students to reach a deeper understanding of the language and its association with contemporary Greek culture.
