Catalog description

The archaeology of Israel has a long and important history for understanding the people and literature connected to its land. This course introduces students to the principal theories and methods of archaeological research and the history of the land of Israel. Through the study of several significant sites and the material culture of the land, students will learn how archaeological findings contribute to the study of Israel and its history.
